What My Roommate Wore This Week: Danielle

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northwestern chapter.

My roommate isn’t embarrassed to admit she has a bit of a shopping addiction.  Even just going to class is a chance for her to show off her latest finds, and she’s the first to get stopped and complimented on her outfit walking down Sheridan. Here are the five great spring looks she wore this week.

Monday:

In this picture Danielle is wearing a typical going to class outfit.  Her navy blue strapless dress (Urban Outfitters) and gold strappy sandals (Sam Edelman) are cute but comfortable for walking around campus on a warm spring day.

Tuesday:

Here Danielle is dressed to impress in a silky turquoise blue shift dress (Urban Outfitters) paired with a silver sparkly belt (Anthropology).  Her strappy nude high heels (Dolce Vita) make this a great going out look as well.

Wednesday:

Showing off her girly side, Danielle is wearing a frilly white eyelet romper and brown leather belt (both from Madewell).  To add some edge she wore leather wedges accented with gold studs (Michael Kors).

Thursday:

This yellow and green cotton printed dress (Free People) was paired effortlessly with a pair of white espadrille sandals for an afternoon of class and meetings.

Friday:

This silk printed top (Madewell) was the perfect balance of fun and flirty for a dinner in Chicago.  Her super dark wash boot cut jeans (Rag and Bone) paired well with a pair of super high white wedges (Tory Burch).

She spent her early years growing up in a small town in Minnesota, but spent the last half of her life in Seoul, South Korea where she developed a city girl love for good food finds and fashion. Journalism has been a major part of her life, but she can also be found relaxing with a cup of coffee, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones. Though she has a tough exterior, Monica is actually a romantic who loves the power of words, the importance of strength in any endeavor, and who always wears her heart on her sleeve.
