The Top Ten Reasons to Subscribe to Birchbox!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Northwestern chapter.

Since subscribing to Birchbox last summer, I have loved everything they have sent me.  Every month, I receive an adorable little box filled with the best new makeup out there, as well as little accessories and treats!  It is the perfect way to treat yourself and is completely worth the $10/month!   Use it to pamper yourself to try out a new makeup look for those nights out with the gentlemen of North campus.  So here are the Top 10 reasons to subscribe:

1. You might be way too lazy, tired or busy studying to go out and look for new products, so they’ll send it right to campus!  Stay trendy from the comfort of your own room.

2. When you forget during the constant stream of midterms and finals (thank you, quarter system) to give yourself a little gift- Birchbox will always remember you!

3. The boxes seem to have ESP and know to arrive on the day when you are the most stressed or sad in the dead of winter, so you get a nice little pick-me-up each month when you need it the most.

4. If you hate something- you didn’t waste your money buying a huge bottle of it!

5. SOMETIMES THEY SEND FOOD.  I REPEAT.  BIRCHBOX SENDS FOOD. THIS IS REASON ENOUGH.

6. It gives you a reason to try something new every day, just like the Lululemon shopping bag tells you to!

7. You can re-gift the boxes to your friends on their birthdays and I guarantee they will love it…and wont realize you regifted it.

8. Your friends will be incredibly jealous when you say, “Gotta go pick up my Birchbox from Plex!”

9. Sometimes they send little, adorable accessories your mother would never let you buy!

10. It’s an instant excuse-in-a-box to have a Girls Night in, and try on all that fabulous new makeup!
