Hello summer! Whether global warming is in full effect or we’ve been lucky enough to have been blessed with a few beautiful sunny days, with temperatures in the 70s, Northwestern’s stylish women are taking full advantage of the weather to dress in their most trendy summery outfits. Some have chosen to throw on dresses and skirts, while others have gone with shorts. Regardless of their personal aesthetic, all these women have one thing in common: they know how to put a stylish look together and rock it.

Shown below is sophomore Nicole Amiridis. Amiridis is wearing a dress from Nasty Gal and Converse sneakers, to dress down her look for a more day, class attire. Her bag, with neon green straps immediately caught my eye and cool sunnies are both from Urban Outfitters, which is always a sure spot to have on trends. Amiridis is “trying to enjoy the last few days of backless sundresses,” she said, but “looking forward to breaking out trench coats.”

Sophomore, Arielle Schwartz went with a denim-on-denim look to enjoy this summer-like week. Her backpack is Herschel, while her skirt is from Urban Outfitters. Schwartz also incorporates other trends of the season, sporting a choker from Lester’s NYC and Adidas Superstar sneakers. Once the cold weather hits, Schwartz is excited to wear bomber jackets.

Brammy Geduld went with a more laid-back look, wearing J Brand jean shorts and Brandy Melville off-the-shoulder top, a big trend of the summer. Her sandals are Stuart Weitzman. Geduld is excited for vintage patches on denim for the fall and winter, which has already shown, through fashion week and various retailers, to be a trend popping up everywhere.
