I went to the U of I vs. NU football game Saturday November 20 and had some great seats. Wrigleyville was all decked out in purple to celebrate game day with the Wildcats. On the way home there was an added surprise- the holiday El with Santa and elves. The whole car smelled like peppermint and played Christmas tunes the whole ride home. Quite a way to make a loss a little less hard to cope with.

Monica is a sophomore at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She spent her early years growing up in a small town in Minnesota, but spent the last half of her life in Seoul, South Korea where she developed a city girl love for good food finds and fashion. Journalism has been a major part of her life, but she can also be found relaxing with a cup of coffee, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones.
