Spring break is officially here, college girls. So after you ace your finals and get your beach bod in perfect shape, finding the perfect bikini is the next logical step. Here’s a breakdown of the hottest swimwear trends this spring.

1.     Fringe
The fringe is in.  This new bikini trend gives off an artsy, hippie vibe.   The fringe can be used to draw fun, flirty attention to your top or bottom.  I like it best when worn in deep, solid colors. Patterns with fringe can just get too busy.  So let your inner hippie shine on a day at the beach. Peace, love and spring break.

2.     High- waisted
Leave your itsy- bitsy teeny- weeny bikini at home.  This season, the retro high waist is in.  This mod 50’s style offers fuller coverage on the bottom.  This style looks great in color-blocking or bright neons. You will be looking like a hot 1950’s pin-up girl in no time.

3.     Tie- Dye
One of the biggest patterns trendy this spring is tie-dye. It’s colorful and bright, but something different than the classic floral print.  So stand out over spring break with this bold new pattern.  Give your look an aquatic vibe with blues and bright greens- or pair it with a boho style cover-up to complete the outfit.

4.     Bold Black and White
Another retro-inspired look that is bound to be big this spring is black and white.  This color combo can take a boring bikini and make it drama- filled. A bold black and white swimsuit is all you need to look sexy even if you are not showing a lot of skin.  A detail like black stripes will draw attention to your curves and the white background will show off your killer spring break tan.
