If you want to start your summer with a fantastic movie, look no further than Ocean’s 8. The star-studded female cast, action-filled plot and dazzling diamonds make for a fantastic heist plot. Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett’s characters lead a team of burglars, including Rihanna, Sarah Paulson and Mindy Kaling, who attempt to steal a multi-million dollar necklace from the neck of a famous socialite, played by Anne Hathaway, at the Met Gala.

In many women-centric narratives, added storylines of cattiness ruin some of the best parts of the films. But be aware that Ocean’s 8 is not your typical movie! The ladies demonstrate that teamwork remains imperative to their success, but I won’t give away whether or not they actually escape with the diamonds. You’ll just have to see it for yourself!
