Wonder who’s following Glee with you as you search the web for the latest news? Wish you could figure out how to make a reservation at that great new restaurant from their confusing website? The new Bing -gets more social so you can spend less time searching and more time doing!
Bing brings in your friends from Facebook and experts from Twitter and blogs to give you information from people who know about what you’re searching for. This way, you can get recommendations from what your friends have liked, and even ask them a question while you’re searching. And because sometimes experts and enthusiasts might know about what you’re searching for, we bring you their tweets and blogs so that you can follow them and learn from them as well.
Bing is also making it easier for you to take action on searches where you just want to get something done. The center column, called snapshot, simplifies your search for things like restaurants, hotels, and movies by giving you pictures, maps, and reviews you need to make a well-informed decision. They have even partnered with OpenTable to give you the option of making a reservation without clicking away from your search.
The first column is the classic search you remember! Bing has just removed all of the clutter that gets in the way of the information you really want.
