It was clear from attending last Friday’s Mr. CASAnova, Kappa Alpha Theta’s annual male beauty pageant and philanthropy event, that Demetrios has undeniable personality. His hilarious video, not to mention over-the-top talent and swim wear portion had the audience laughing the entire time. What was it like competing in Theta’s Mr. CASAnova? How does it feel to be the winner?
You know, I just went out there to have a good time and I’m sure you could tell I definitely enjoyed myself, if not more so than the other contestants, so I think that’s the reason why I was chosen as Mr. CASAnova. I think the video is a pretty good indicator as well.
What are you involved with on campus?
Well, besides being a member of my fraternity, Lodge, I’m also a part of A&O Productions, Mayfest, The Daily Northwestern, and I’m involved with different film sets.
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Something spontaneous for sure, for example (and this clearly isn’t happening anytime soon) it’d be awesome to wake up one morning (in Greece, duh), go to the port, and take the first ferry out and spend the day on whatever random island you happen to land on.
What’s the biggest turnoff in a girl?
When a girl uses the phrase “omg, roflcopter.” I have no idea what that means…(nor do I care).
Where’s your favorite place to visit?
Agios Prokopios beach on Naxos, an island in Greece.
