Everyone knows that trends go in and out. But lately, the obsession with eyebrows has girls everywhere going crazy. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s thin brows were trending, according to assistant manager Diane Shaw at Benefit Cosmetics in Evanston. Now, celebrities like Lily Collins and Lucy Hale are embracing their thick eyebrows, and are causing those who are not fortunate enough to have a thick brow naturally to try to mimick the bushy look.Whether it’s growing brows out or using make-up to achieve a fuller look, it’s clear that thick brows are a powerfulfall beauty trend.

When I sat down with Diane she told me, “Benefit specializes in all brow services and that their philosophy is the fuller, the thicker, the better!”

Now that a more natural make-up look is “in” people are focusing more on the eyebrow to enhance their overall look. Diane said that “full brows frame the face more, bring out the eye more and look more natural.” And who better to trust than the expert herself? Benefit is the happening spot for beauty lovers everywhere and a great spot to amp up your brow game right here in Evanston. As a customer myself, I know that they are geared towards making you happy. And while they focus on thick brows if you desire a more groomed, definite line then they are there to meet your needs. They also sell products like the Gimme Brow that is an eyebrow gel designed to thicken. It even gives the brow some color.  So put down your Tweezerman and let your thick, bushy brows take over!
