Between the months of December and March, I lose almost all motivation to do makeup in the morning and to, quite honestly, even get out of bed for my 8am. I try to find makeup products that can be put on quickly, but also make me feel more put together than I actually am. I heard about Glossier from a couple friends back home in California, but never bought the products myself until I decided I needed to treat myself back in October. I did a happy dance during their Black Friday sale, and now constantly jump at the chance to recommend their products to my friends looking for easy but quality makeup products.

Let’s start with the brows. I have pretty dark hair, but I’ve always felt that my eyebrows were a little lighter than my hair color, so I usually fill them in even if I am not doing a full face of makeup.

Glossier’s Boy Brow is probably my favorite brow product that I own. I’ve tried the Anastasia brow pot, I’ve tried eyebrow pencils, but Glossier’s Boy Brow takes the cake. It gives your brows a more natural look because the gel sticks to your eyebrow hair rather than your skin so it doesn’t look like you painted on your eyebrows.

I love highlighter. It makes me feel like I am one glow away from Beyonce status. Dramatics aside, the Haloscope highlighter in Topaz is perfect for my pale skin. You basically apply it by rubbing it right above your cheekbones and blend. It’s easy, sparkly, and a little expensive, but totally worth it. The only downside is the stickiness. I have also used powder highlighters and personally prefer those only because when I fall asleep in class, the Glossier highlighter gets on my hands a little bit. Kidding, I never fall asleep in class of course.

The last product I want to talk about is the Generation G lip color in Crush. While it leaves my lips a little dry, it looks natural color-wise and I would definitely buy it again. I like to wear lip color daily and the Generation G is perfect for daily use because it enhances your natural lip color and doesn’t stand out too much.

Glossier is good quality makeup, comes in the most adorable packaging, and overall satisfies the needs of all the girls out there who want to wear makeup, but look natural at the same time. It’s a little expensive, but the products will last you for a long time. Two thumbs up from me.
