So many sweaters, so little time.

Fall is the perfect excuse to flaunt my all-time favorite article of clothing: the sweater. Sweaters are versatile, warm, and most importantly, comfortable. Although I am often guilty of outfit repeating, with a good sweater as a base an old ensemble can look totally new. Layering is key to mastering sweater weather, and can be done with most any style. There are endless varieties of this key piece, but few stand out. Here are the top 10 most fabulous sweater styles for this wonderful time of year…

1. Oversized

2. Cropped

3. Colored

4. Fur

5. Printed

6. Cowl Neck

7. Vintage (or just vintage-looking)

8. Off-the-shoulder

9. Wrap

10. Grandpa

Places around Boston to look for great sweaters include:
Madewell, Urban Outfitters, Free People, Anthropologie, Marshall’s/TJ Maxx, No Rest For Bridget, H&M, Buffalo Exchange, The Garment District Cambridge…
