The weather’s getting cooler, and pumpkin spice is appearing everywhere you can possibly imagine; but most important of all – Halloween is almost upon us. Coming up with costumes that your group of friends all agree on can be tough, but here are five ideas to help you through the struggle.

A baby’s gotta do what a baby’s gotta do! Relive your 90s Nickelodeon days with everyone’s favorite group of babies. Each outfit can easily be created in your dorm. If you don’t feel like wearing an adult version of Tommy’s diaper, which is totally understandable, wear a pair of white shorts instead. Order a pack of cheap baby bottles on Amazon for the full effect!
2. Snow/Bro White and the Seven Dwarves
For a larger group, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is perfect. Each dwarf can wear a different colored shirt with a black skirt or jeans along with a beanie. Choose which dwarf fits each friend and tape a piece of paper with the name to their shirt. If you have a guy friend that wants to be included, you can designate him as “Bro White”. Unless he is willing to wear a dress, find an outfit similar to Snow White’s. He could wear yellow pants with a blue shirt and red hat.
3. Alice in Wonderland
The large amount of characters in Alice in Wonderland provides many options for as many or as few friends you’d like to dress up with. Some of the major characters are Alice, the Queen of Hearts, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and the Rabbit. The list can keep going. You can mix and match with clothes you already have, and go crazy with the makeup for these costumes.
4. 101 Dalmatians
For 101 Dalmatians you only need one friend to be Cruella DeVille and as many friends as you want to be dalmatians. For Cruella, you need a black dress, a wig, and a fur coat. You can find a nice fur coat for a low price at a thrift store. For the dalmatians cut out black circles and tape them to a white dress. Paint a few spots on your face. Buy a pair of dog ears, and you’re good to go!
5. The Seven Deadly Sins
Take a pick of one of the Seven Deadly Sins for your group of seven friends. Each sin is unique and lets you unleash a great deal of creativity. You can choose to wear a sash or label stating which sin you are, or just let your costume do the talking!
