Anyone remember the Lord and Taylor Trendsetter application promoted on Her Campus Northeastern a while back? Well, the position has been filled and we are pleased to welcome one of the two Trendsetters on campus, Amber Cross!

Can you explain the L&T Trendsetter position/what it is in the most general sense?

Being the Lord & Taylor Marketing Specialist Trendsetter, my job is to display how Lord & Taylor fits into the everyday lives of a Northeastern student. Whether it is fashion for co-op, class, or any special event, I show that Lord & Taylor is the perfect go-to to satisfy all your fashion needs.

What made you apply to be a L&T Trendsetter?

I have always viewed Lord & Taylor as a representation of sophistication. With a balance of must-have trends and timeless classics, it has always been one of my favorite places to shop. Being able to represent a company that I love as well as gain experience with marketing was the epitome of perfection for me.

Can you describe your day to day role with L&T and what you do on campus?

My day to day role consists of keeping the Lord & Taylor Northeastern social media sites updated with the latest trends as well as style inspiration. I also promote the giveaways, events, and exclusive opportunities available for Northeastern students.

What is your favorite fall fashion look?

My favorite fall fashion look would consist of a neutral-colored peacoat paired with a sweater dress. Incorporating these classics into your wardrobe is a fabulous way to keep warm but look chic at the same time.
