Winter break has come to an end, and Northeastern collegiettes™ are back to the grind of co-op and classes. The first (or second, for those of us on co-op) week back can be a drag, so we’ve put together this list of hot mashups to get you through the back-to-school blues. Happy listening!


The Jane Doze – Music Sounds Better With Monsters

Girl duo The Jane Doze mashes dubstep artist Skrillex with tween sensation Big Time Rush.


Captain Cuts – Dancing With Avicii
One of the biggest club hits of the year gets some vocals courtesy of The Knocks’ Dancing With The DJ.

Girl Talk – Triple Double
One of the first mashup artists on the scene, this is one of my all-time favorite tracks from Gregg Gillis’ latest album, All Day.


5 & A Dime – #BASSMOB
One of my favorite up-and-coming mashup artists, 5 & A Dime, makes a monster mashup of 2011’s biggest hits from the likes of Skrillex, Dev, Avicii and Nicki Minaj.

Brenton Duvall – Mean Planes and Taylor Gangs
Producer Brenton Duvall seamlessly puts Taylor Swift vocals over Wiz Khalifa beats.

The White Panda – G.O.O.D.G.I.R.L.S
Another duo that turns out one great party hit after another, this recent Panda track mashes Dillon Francis with Wale.

Madeon – Pop Culture
At the age of 17, French phenom producer Madeon released this killer track featuring some of the biggest pop songs of the last few years.

5 & A Dime – Stereo Thongs
Another great mash from 5 & A Dime, the beats will get you hooked while the lyrics keep you laughing.

DJ Schmolli – Cruelly Good Summer Feeling
This track fuses Ace of Base’s biggest 90’s hit with the ever-popular mash track Good Feeling.



Basic Physics & Yoni – Bastoblast
Mashup masters Basic Physics combine the likes of Skrillex, Rihanna and others for a no-fail dance track.

Super Mash Bros. – I’m Onto Something (That’s What She Said)
Another founding father of mashups, this is one of my favorite tracks from Los Angeles duo Super Mash Bros., including some Spice Girls, Smash Mouth, and other 90’s favorites.

Wick-it The Instigator – Black Bug
Black Bug combines Big Boi with instrumentals from The Black Keys for a catchy, laid back track.



Milkman – Silhouette
Mashup master Milkman combines songs old and new in one catchy, seamless track.



The Catalina Rhyme Mixers – You Belong Right Above It
For Taylor Swift fans out there, The Catalina Rhyme Mixers create one of my all-time favorite mashups, dropping Lil’ Wayne beats behind You Belong With Me.

D.veloped – Throw Some D’s On That Blink
Blink-182’s classic riff gets mashed with Wiz Khalifa, Jay-Z and others in this catchy track.
