Fall is in the air, people are drinking pumpkin spice lattes and fall decorations are being sold in stores. Even though the weather is still warm, mid-September is the time to start incorporating Fall trends into everyday outfits. You might wonder how you should start wearing cute fall clothes to class even when the temperature hasn’t started to drop, well there are many ways! Here are just a few:

  • Oversized Shirt with Shorts

From Arinana Grande’s Instagram and other Instagram influencers, we can see that oversized hoodies and shirts are in style. For class this is a great way to stay comfy while still looking cute. Since Fall is starting the suggested colors are orange, yellow or black. Since it is still hot outside, an oversized shirt instead of a sweater like material is a good way to go. Pair it with cropped jean shorts to stay cool while walking to class in the middle of the day. Wear some sneakers and the look is complete.

  • Black Bottoms and Cool Tank

Dark colors are coming back with Fall and Halloween around the corner. Over the summer, black distressed jean shorts were definitely a must have clothing item. Black jeans are a great essential piece is any outfit in the cooler months. Unlike regular light-wash jeans, black jeans give off more of the sleek-grungy look for Fall time. Wear a tank top with a pair of black skinny jeans. Pair it with a light cardigan or button down shirt. If it gets too hot throughout the day wrap it around your waist. Also a great duo is a light off the shoulder sweater. For shoes, wear boots or sneakers.

  • Sweater Dress and Boots

This last idea may be to fancy for class but it is great for a date night or going out with friends in the evening. Most of the time, once the sun goes down the temperature does as well so this option will keep you warm yet fashionable for those special nights. Wear a sweater dress in a good Fall color like this one below in dark green. Pair it with thigh high or ankle boots and you are good to go!
