Spring is in full swing, with sunshine and green here on campus! However, this doesn’t mean that you need to buy a new wardrobe. The continued chilly weather provides easy ways to transition your winter elements into spring staples.

 

The first two outfits transitioned a black cardigan by pairing it with a bright dress and boat shoes, rather than neutral boots, jeans, and a scarf. The second two outfits transitioned knee-length boots by adding a flowy pink dress instead of jeans, a cardigan, and a pink top. Happy dressing and happy spring!

Outfit #1: Scarf – Kohl’s, cardigan – Charlotte Russe, jeans – Forever 21, boots – Emu

Outfit #2: Cardigan – Charlotte Russe, dress – Forever 21, shoes – Sperry

Outfit #3: Cardigan – Target, top – Old Navy, jeans – Kohl’s, boots – Macy’s

Outfit #4: Dress – Love Culture, boots – Macy’s

Amy is a sophomore biology/pre-pharmacy major and Spanish minor at NU. She is the treasurer of Bienvenidos, the Spanish culture club on campus, and is an active member of Biology Club. She hopes to attend pharmacy school after she graduates and receive her Pharm.D. pharmacy doctorate.
Sarah is a sophomore TESOL/French double major at Niagara University. She is involved in EAGLE Leadership, Niagara University Future Teachers of America, a Community Assistant, Teacher's Assistant, and founder of the Niagara HC chapter.
