The 11 Stages Of Going Out On A Friday

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at New Paltz chapter.

1. The moment you are finally done with all of your classes!

Knowing you finally get to drink the stress away after a long week!

2. But for a brief moment you think about just how much work you have to do over the weekend!

“I have how many assignments due Monday?”

3. But then you remember, you have all of Sunday

Because you deserve to drink…RIGHT?

4. Then comes the  “What am I wearing?” stage!

Where it’s a never ending search through hundreds of tops and shopping in your roommate’s closet.

5. Even so, you have NOTHING to wear!

And you think about not going out anymore

6. But after an early evening meltdown, the perfect outfit comes together and you start feeling as confident as Kylie Jenner with her lip injections.

7. And now its PREGAME TIME!!!

Who doesn’t love a shot a vodka after a long week?

8. You finally arrive at the bars and you have one of two thoughts…

…not enough shots were consumed to make this acceptable!

or

…too many shots were consumed…but it’s okay…because that’s the point right?

9. Once you’ve established the perfect level of intoxication, you can now deal with the boy situation

We’d like to think there is a cute boy across the bar, ready with a drink in hand…

…but usually that is never the case, so you just give up and leave.

10. Drunk pizza time is the best pizza time

A slice of chicken bacon ranch at 3 a.m.? Make it 3 slices!

11. And we all know how the walk back goes…

…and the next morning we wake up feeling like

Yet we never learn our lesson and repeat our mistakes on Saturday!
