Meet Campus Cutie Couple Justin Pantano ’18 and Steven Soler ’18!

HC: How did you two meet?

Answer: Biology class fall semester

HC: How long have you been dating?

A: 7 months

HC: Who initiated the first kiss?

A: Steven initiated the first kiss.  After watching The Fault in Our Stars in Steven’s room, Justin was about to leave. Steven asked for a hug goodbye, and then went for the kiss just before leaving.

HC: What is your favorite thing about your significant other?

Justin: Steven is easy to connect to, a very personable person, and easy to talk to.

Steven: Justin is smart, and intelligent.

HC: What has been your most memorable moment?

A: Justin surprised Steven in his hometown last August. Steven told Justin about having a bad week, and Justin wanted to do something to help. He spoke to one of Steven’s friends from home to help coordinate this surprise. He surprised him at a McDonalds as Steven slowly recognized the familiar face. They were able to spend the day together until Justin had to return home.

HC: Who said “I love you” first?

A: Steven said it first.

HC: How do you resolve arguments?

A: They are both very indecisive people.  If it is a minor argument, they make noises at each other until it is resolved, but for bigger arguments talking it out and apologies work best.

HC: Do you have any advice to give to new couples?

Justin: Don’t be afraid to have serious conversations because communication is key.

Steven: If it happens, it happens.

HC: What’s the best gift or best thing your significant other has given/ done for you?

Steven: After winter break, Justin gave me a handmade calendar in a binder.  Each page was a day, and each month had a theme.

Justin:  Before winter break, Steven gave me a box of Ferrero Rocher Chocolates with little notes attached for why he likes me.
