If there was anything I never thought I would do in college, it would be my constant binging of television game shows on the game show network. One game show in particular would have to be, Family Feud! The show’s host, Steve Harvey has two rivaling families compete to name the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win cash and prizes.
If you’re like me, then picture this: what if you had the chance to play Family Feud in college? Well, now you can! The American Marketing Association at UNH is more than excited to be making this happen! They have spent the last week and a half spreading around a survey for all the students to answer in preparation for this event, and for those who have submitted answers to the survey, they will be raffling off, on the night of the event, $25 Dunkin Donuts gift cards! But the prizes don’t end there, the “family” who wins first place will receive a gift basket full of wonderful various items.
And if that’s not enough, they will also be randomly selecting one lucky member from the audience, along with their friend of choice compete in our Fast Cash round. During fast cash, the first member has 20 seconds to answer five survey questions, with the second member sequestered backstage so that he/she cannot see or hear the answers. After the point values are revealed and totaled, the board will be cleared and the second member is given 25 seconds to answer the same five questions. If this member duplicates a previously given answer, he/she is allowed to give a different one. Either player may pass on a question and return to it after all five have been asked, if there is still time on the clock. If the two members accumulate 200 points or more between them, they both each win a $20 Amazon gift card!
Not bad for a college version of Family Feud, huh?
