The Eras tour has completely taken over the world and I don’t know about you, but I love watching TikToks of people getting ready, making friendship bracelets, screaming the songs and the overall experience of the Eras Tour.

I was lucky enough to have been able to go to two shows. The first one was Nashville Night 3. Now as much as I love Taylor Swift and as excited as I was to experience the concert, it was one of my worst experiences. If you are a big Swiftie, then you probably know about how the concert was delayed for hours due to a thunderstorm. As soon as we got in, they pushed us towards the covered area. Now imagine having thousands of people crammed into an area. It was not fun. Many people around us were crying, experiencing anxiety and even many were passing out. The amount of times we had to hear or call for a “medic” was too many. We spent about four hours not knowing whether or not Taylor was going to come out and having to move through the crowd in order to get more room to stand and breathe. This is not something I would want to experience again. After a long time of waiting, we were finally let into our seats where Taylor performed her whole set in the pouring rain. Her energy as well as all the performers on stage with her was absolutely incredible and she was able to make the show amazing despite the rain. As amazing as Taylor and the whole concert was, we had to miss out on the openers, Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers. This sucked! Especially as we had picked that specific night just so we could see them as well as we are big fans of them as well. It is unfortunate that we weren’t able to hear them play, but I am glad we at least got Phoebe Bridgers to come out to play Nothing New.

The next show I went to was Mexico City Night 2. This night was incredible and was able to give me a much better experience. On our way down to Mexico, I enlisted the help of my mother and we spent the entire flight making friendship bracelets. I met up with my friend in Mexico City the next day and we got ready for the concert. I was nervous about having another rainshow, especially knowing how the Mexico weather is. However, we only got some light rain during Sabrina Carpenter’s set. The show was incredible and a lot more organized. I was blown away with the organization the ForoSol had, especially compared with the how badly it was handled at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. We were able to trade friendship bracelets with fellow Swifties, bond over what surprise songs we hoped we would get and take many pictures. It was a different vibe than the Nashville concert for sure. Especially as everyone was in a good mood and everyone had high energy.

I am forever grateful for being lucky enough to have gone to two Eras shows. Both concerts were incredible and Taylor Swift knows how to put on a performance.
