What’s easy to listen to as well as convenient to multitask? Podcasts. This year in particular, there has been a tremendous spike in podcast listeners as people realize the value and versatility that they hold. Unlike Netflix or YouTube, you can’t necessarily use other apps on your phone synchronously or look away from the screen for too long without missing an important scene. When it comes to podcasts, it is easy to multitask, drive, or workout while listening! Below, I have listed a variety of podcasts to fit all interested that everyone should give a listen!

The Lazy Genius

Sometimes, we all get lazy. With trying to keep our heads above water with jobs and online school, laziness and procrastination can begin to kick in as the workload gets tough. This podcast can help when those lazy and unmotivated streaks begin! It gives tips on how to prevent and work through procrastination, as well as talks through how to get organized and motivated when your life is faced with obstacles.

The first season of the podcast broke the charts. It follows a true-crime story regarding teenagers and covers all of the interviews, phone calls, and evidence of the case. It follows the case of Adnan Syed, a young man convicted of murdering his friend. The podcast works to examine the case and gives opinions on what actually happened and the lies that spiraled out of control.

Call Your Girlfriend

This podcast is hosted by two women who talk about all things life. It covers women in politics, STEM, and the medical career as well as lifestyle and self care tips. This podcast is also a great way to learn about current events and the news around the world.

Anything Goes with Emma Chamberlain

If you are looking for a well-rounded podcast aimed at teens and young adults, this is one way to go. Over the years, Emma Chamberlain has emerged as a teenage style and influencing icon, but this podcast shows a whole other side of her personality. In this podcast, she covers issues that are affecting our generation, such as mental health, social justice, and how to battle issues that occur in your everyday life. She is an extremely relatable person whose stories and wisdom can relate to and impact nearly anyone.

Crime Junkies

For all of my true crime lovers out there, you are sure to fall in love with this podcast. It is hosted by two women who cover missing persons cases, murders, kidnappings; the list goes on and on. If you love true crime or want to learn more about a variety of cases – tune in!
