Love ‘em or hate ‘em nepotism babies are a quintessential part of Hollywood. The term nepotism has gained more popularity in recent years to describe the children of famous celebrities. Whether they’re acting alongside their parents or paving their own path in the entertainment industry, everyone can’t get enough of identifying who was born into the spotlight. A recent Vulture article about nepotism babies has generated more and more buzz around the phrase, which has inspired me to write about my all time favorite nepotism babies.

Dakota Johnson

Daughter of famous actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, Dakota Johnson is a real gem. Although she comes from a long line of famous ancestors, including Tippi Hedren, Dakota’s charisma and humorous personality differentiates her from the rest. From pretending to love limes to later revealing that she’s allergic to them, to the Ellen scandal of 2019, Dakota’s chaotic but calm energy is truly captivating.

Zoey Deutch

Daughter of famous actress Lea Thompson and director Howard Deutch, Zoey Deutch stole my heart in the Netflix rom com Set it Up. Although I’d seen many of her prior movies, Set It Up really captures her quirky but relatable personality. I love her in the rom com genre but honestly she can play a wide variety of characters. From playing a heartfelt protagonist in Before I Fall to an unlikable, perhaps even loathed character in Not Okay, Zoey Deutch can do it all.

Emma Roberts

Niece of famous actress Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts is known for her many iconic roles. Although she is not the traditional nepotism baby, I still included her on this list because of her famous relative. Titles such as American Horror Story, Screams Queens, Nerve, Wild Child, Holidate, and many more have made Emma Roberts a household name. She knows how to play the perfect mean girl or relatable love interest. Her wide range of lovable characters have made me excited for any future project she may be a part of.

Lily Collins

Daughter of famous musician Phil Collins and actress Jill Tavelman, Lily Collins has an infectious energy that she brings to all of her roles. From Love, Rosie to The Blind Side, and Emily in Paris, Lily Collins has played entertaining characters that have made me a fan. She has a distinct spark and charm that makes her intriguing in any project.

Maude Apatow

Maude Apatow is part of a famous family consisting of mother Leslie Mann and father Judd Apatow. She is best known for her role in Euphoria but has many other credits including This is 40, where she stars alongside her famous mom. Her polite, calm, and humble energy is so refreshing considering she is the daughter of two very famous actors.
