There are less than two weeks away until Super Bowl 50 and the Carolina Panthers will go against the Denver Broncos in Santa Clara, California. The Panthers have been nearly perfect all season with their only loss against the Atlanta Falcons. While the Broncos record this season wasn’t so bad with 14 wins and 4 losses.

Sophomore Christopher Jordan says that the NFC champions will have 35-18 victory over Quarterback Peyton Manning and Denver. Freshman Camille C. is also leaning towards Carolina for a win and predicts that, if he does his job well, Quarterback Cam Newton will be MVP. Additionally, she predicts for them to win 35-21.

Enough about the 4 quarters of football, there is also the anticipated halftime show. Headlining this year’s performance are the band, Coldplay along with singer, Beyonce Knowles-Carter. With two Grammy award-winning artists erupting on stage, those 12 minutes, whether you’re in the stadium or watching on TV, will be spectacular.

Personally, I would have preferred to see the Pittsburgh Steelers playing and winning on February 7th but nevertheless, I’ll still be watching. Speaking of next season, Camille C. is looking forward to the Dallas Cowboys going all the way (like that’ll ever happen). While Christopher J. is hoping for the New York Giants, with Victor Cruz, Odell Beckham Jr., and Eli Manning, to win it all.

I love Beyonce & Erykah Badu !

Hi everyone!

I am a sophomore at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who should be majoring in Weddings, but is actually a Journalism & Mass Communications student with a concentration in Multimedia. Originally I am from Woodbridge, Virginia, which is about 30 minutes south of our nation’s capital. I have lived here all my life, but I’m not afraid to branch out and explore the world.

This past summer I studied abroad in Sydney, Australia to engage and immerse myself in Australian culture. The experience was phenomenal and I’m already counting down the days until I can return that beautiful country.
