We all know how crazy the month of November gets. It’s the time when you get to see your friends and family, get a break from all the hard work and maybe gain 10 more pounds. Sadly, sometimes not everyone gets to go home for Thanksgiving, perhaps you’re an international student, or you just want to stay here with your new besties, either way we’ll give you seven things you can do for the week of Thanksgiving in New York City.

NOVEMBER 23

You love Electronic music? Who doesn’t? Start your week with partying it up in Brooklyn with Hiya Wal feat. Olof Dreijer (The Knife). Don’t worry, it’s 18+, plus only $10 at the entrance. What else do you need, you got your friends, your beer and the music you can dance all night to.

Funk it up. Jazz it down. R&B it side to side. November 24th is the day when you need to go to Madison Square Garden, for the one and only Stevie Wonder. Should we say more? It’s Stevie Wonder! That man never gets old. Get tickets before they’re all sold out.

This is the day when we all go to Central Park. Oh, don’t roll your eyes at us. We know you have ‘been-there-done-that’, but have you already had your winter fun? Yeah, we didn’t think so. Gather all your friends and go ice skating at Wollman Rink. Imagine sliding through that ice while watching the greatest city in front of you.

Have fun and be careful! http://tinyurl.com/CentralParkICERINK

It’s Thanksgiving! Join the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC starting at 9:00 a.m. That is where the real fun starts, full of almost 25000 people, gifts, costumes, and music. This only happens once a year, don’t miss out! At the end of the day don’t forget to call everyone you are thankful for, because you never know when they might not be there. Tell them you love them! We all know how expensive the clubs can get, especially during holidays. Kap Slap & Gazzo will be turning things up on the 27th of November in Pacha, New York for only 20$ General Admission. If you’re tired after too much partying, be sure to see George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker!

All hail the queen Miley! Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz are performing in NYC on the 28th in Terminal 5. Be sure to buy tickets before they’re gone, and don’t forget to take lots of photos!

If you’re broke like every college student or maybe Miley just isn’t your thing (how dare you), check out the Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar full of variety of foods, activities and music and the best part is that all of the above is free!

NOVEMBER 29

It’s November 29th, which means the month is almost over. This is the day where you can rest all day, chill with your friends and probably sleep all day. We won’t tell you what to do on this day, just watch Netflix and chill (at least this is what we’ll be doing).

We hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving week! Be sure to make lots of memories, have fun and be safe!
