Manhattanville’s annual Hunger Games… right sorry, I mean room selection is just around the corner. Just like every other year, students are running around like chickens without a head trying to find the perfect number of people to live with. If you want to live in a suite you’ll need 5 other people, but if you are looking at Founder’s the options are endless, 1, 2, 3 other people and bathmates (if you want to know them). If you are one of the lucky ones (a senior) and have a high housing number, everyone will want to live with you. But for those of you who have more guy friends than girl friends or vice versa there is no need to flip out about not being able to get that suite you wanted. Starting next year, school year 2016-2017, all of Dammann will have the gender inclusive housing option.
So what does this mean? Basically, it means that guys and girls can live together in the same suite. This doesn’t mean that you need to be both genders to live in Dammann. It’s just a choice you have.
Come on Valiants, start looking for your future roomies, because the Hunger Games start April 28th!
