Get into the Fall Season with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Mville chapter.

When it’s Fall, I immediately think of pumpkin everything. As someone who is completely obsessed with pumpkin I had to combine 2 of my favorite things ; chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin.

Here is how I made my pumpkin chocolate chip cookies:

Ingredients :

2 cups of flour

1 tsp of baking soda

1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice

2 sticks of butter

3 / 4 cups of brown sugar

1 egg

2 tsp of vanilla extract

2 cups of chocolate chips

Directions:

Start by heating the oven to 375 degrees

Combine the flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice

Mix together butter and sugar then add in the flour mixture

Add in the chocolate chips

The KEY to this recipe is putting the roll dough balls into the fridge for 30 minutes before going into the oven.

Leave them in for about 10 minutes or until you see them starting to turn brown on the bottom.

And ENJOY!!
