With spring in full swing (bipolar weather included) and summer quickly approaching, a lot of girls are wondering how to transition their go-to winter makeup look to the warmer weather. Here’s a list of ideas!
Skip the foundation.Â
Let your face breathe in the new, fresh air of spring. Skip the full face of foundation, but if you still feel like you need the coverage, opt for a tinted moisturizer, preferably with sunscreen to protect your face from the sun!
Â
Switch up your cat eye.Â
If your go-to look is a classic black cat eye, consider a change of color. Purples work great with brown eyed girls, and green and blue are mention worthy alternatives too!
Â
A pop of lip color.Â
Dark red lips are always a great look, but if it was your go-to this winter, change it up a bit by picking out different colors. You’ll still get the WOW effect of red lips, just in a more seasonally appropriate shade. Try fuschia or even an orange tone!
Â
Skip the eyeshadow.Â
If eyeshadow is your favorite part of your makeup, consider using just mascara. Your eyes will still shine, but it’ll feel like you’re wearing less makeup. It’ll look great with a bright lip color!
Â
Embrace brights.Â
If black or dark nail polish was your favorite thing this past winter, continue painting your nails, just grab a pink or a neon shade instead. It’ll look great with your summer tan!
