If you’ve ever watched The Vampire Diaries you know Damon Salvatore. Whether you initially loved him or hated him no girl could ever resists his charisma and crystal blue eyes. Here are 6 reasons to love this sexy man. (spoilers)
6. HE IS THE IDEAL BAD BOY
He always wears black/ some form of dark clothing usually paired with a leather jacket or leather boots. His jet black hair and tortured soul smirk make him irresistible to any girl seeking some adventure.
5. HIS CONFIDENCE
There is no doubt in sight when Damon is making a decision whether that be to kill an enemy or how many sugars he wants in his coffee. What Damon wants Damon gets and we all know how alluring confidence is when seeking a mate (regardless if they’re fictional or not). There is something about how secure he is in his own skin that is absolutely compelling and sets him apart from other vampires.
4. HIS DANCE MOVES
No one can forget the way they felt seeing Damon moving those hips in Season 1 Episode 6’s scene with Vicki Donovan before he turned her into a vampire or when he came to Elena’s rescue at the Miss Mystic Falls pageant and participated in the near touch waltz in Season 1 Episode 19. This was the first time elena saw Damon as something more than her boyfriends rude brother and for good reason, if you waltzed with Damon in a full tux how would you feel?
3. THOSE EYES
Tyra Banks would be obsessed with Damon because he has perfected the art of the smize. Those incredibly deep and mysterious baby blues are a staple in his charm and when he looks your way you just want to melt.

1. WHEN HE LOVES HE LOVES HARD
He may not always show it because he was torn after Katherine but when it comes to epic love Damon is your man. Taking it back to 1864 when Damon and Katherine were together he was head over heels for her. He loved her more than anything in the world and would have done anything for her. Fast forward to 2009 when Stefan and Elena are together but Damon starts having feelings for Elena. Even though she doesn’t feel the same way he doesn’t let that stop him from going above and beyond to make sure she is safe and happy. Fast forward a bit more (seasons 2-7) and their love is an indescribable whirl of passion and excitement.
