It’s finals week and while some people get to escape hell week early, many of us are still here on campus left to suffer. Here are some helpful tips to keep you on track during this week.

  1. To Do Lists This is something I recommend doing a day before the week officially starts. This way you know what needs to get done and you can figure out the right time to complete it. You won’t feel as overwhelmed or stressed out.
  2. Study Groups Sometimes there is only so much a textbook or even your own notes can do. If you meet with someone in class or even a bunch of people from your class you all can put your notes together. Also, your peers may have more insight on some of the topics to be covered on the exam.
  3. Get Sleep While most students pull all nighters, not having enough sleep for the exam can actually put all that studying to waste. Your brain needs time to relax and to absorb the information. It can only do that if you give yourself a good amount of sleep.
  4. Full Meals Just like sleep, eating a full meal is just as important. It will give you energy and keep you more productive. Instead of having a cup of coffee, pick up a snack instead. Food is your best friend at this time.
  5. Breathe Don’t stress yourself out. All of this will be over soon and it’ll be worth it! Just take a moment to breathe and remind yourself that you can soon be on break.

Good luck this week Valiants! You got this!
