If you are an avid watcher of the CW show Riverdale like me, then you know just how wild this third season has been and promises to continue to be. Fair warning to those of you who have yet to watch the show, this article will be full of spoilers. Read at your own risk.

At the end of the first season, our trusty band of Riverdale teenagers solved the murder of Jason Blossom. I had no doubts the show would continue, but what could possibly come next? Was this going to be a crime-solving show, a teenage drama, or a mix of both?

I had pretty high hopes for the show, especially with the cliffhanger the end of the first season. When the first episode of the second season aired you can bet I was sitting right in front of the tv with my popcorn beside me. I was not let down. The second season progressed, and we learned more about our new villain, the Black Hood. The storyline flowed nicely, and our beloved Riverdale teens solved yet another mystery with a lot of drama along the way.

At the end of the second season, however, the same burning question entered my mind. How will they continue after this?

The writers of Riverdale left us again with so many unanswered questions. When the trailer for season 3 was finally released I couldn’t wait for the show to start. Now three episodes in, I can’t believe the new things that have come about.

The writers have been setting us up for this one since the very first season. They bring back the Farm but more in-depth. We learn we have another “character” called the Gargoyle King. So what exactly is the farm? Who is the Gargoyle King? Are the two connected?

These aren’t the only beings our favorite teens have to worry about. Veronica’s dad, Hiram, is still trying to gain power over the town of Riverdale and won’t stop until he gets what he wants. He will even risk a relationship with his daughter to do so by threatening Pop’s Chock’lit Shoppe and the speakeasy, both of which she owns.

Our poor Archie has pled guilty, despite not being so, and is in jail. In the latest episode, he was “tapped” by the warden of the prison and has to fight other prisoners for the entertainment of the warden and his officers. If he doesn’t, there will be major repercussions.

Betty is having seizures and possible visions. Her family is under the influence of the Farm and doing odd things because of it, like throwing the twins into a bonfire. What happened there?

The Ghoulies and the Serpents are still at each others’ throats. And let’s not forget the new game many Riverdalers are playing. Griffins & Gargoyles has already claimed three victims. We saw in the latest episode that Jughead played the game with Ethel. Could he be the next possible victim? I sure hope not. Also, why do all the parents seem to know all about this game? Have they played it before?

All I have are tons of questions and sorry, no answers. One thing is for sure. Riverdale, you have my attention.
