Release the pumpkin aromas and pull out your cozy sweaters because fall is right around the corner! The store aisles are already lined with autumn leaves and decor bursting with orange, maroon and brown colors. The fall season gives us so much to look forward to, such as flannels, spiced lattes, bonfires, Halloween… the list could go on and on. Aside from the typical and “basic” fall things, there is a lot more to look forward to in fashion, technology, music and entertainment coming to us in this season.Â
Fashion
Of course, this is a pretty easy start because let’s be honest, we all love layering those sweaters and putting on our bean boots. Many high-fashioned designers are focusing on different things for this year’s season. First, earthy tones are no longer the reigning go-to; bright, almost neon, colors and busy prints appeared on the runway for this year.Â
Studs are also on the verge of a major comeback– appearing on anywhere from purses to jeans to shoes. Handbags are making bold statements and becoming even more eccentric. Fringes, small pouches, fanny packs and oddly shaped clutches are all the rave. Refinery29 has the complete list of what exactly to look when browsing the handbag aisles this season.Â
TechnologyÂ
It’s hard to catch up to, since it is constantly and quickly improving, but technological innovations can always give us something to be excited about. Apple will be releasing three new phones this fall. Basically, they are revamping the iPhone X by offering different screen sizes with either an LCD or OLED screen. Nothing too crazy is coming, but an extensive explanation for what’s to come from Apple can be found here.

Music
Time to push aside the Drake and Cardi B for a bit and get ready for some other flaming albums that are about releasing this fall. Country Queen, Carrie Underwood, will release her much-anticipated album, Cry Pretty, mid-September. Twenty-One Pilots, 6LACK, Paul McCartney and others will also be dropping some new albums and singles, so keep an ear out for those.
If you’re lucky enough to live in or around these locations, you could still catch the last few shows of T-Swift’s hit Reputation concert tour. The Foo Fighters will be touring until September 12th, and Maroon 5 will also be on the road until October 15th. Drake with Migos, of course, is all the rage and will conclude in November. Everyone deserves the chance to see those “In My Feelings” moves in person, am I right?

Entertainment
Fall includes October, and we all know what October means: Halloween. The lineup for horror movies is wicked (pun totally intended). Michael Myers is definitely back, and he’s got some new friends with him. Although the majority of movies releasing this fall are scary, there are some coming that don’t necessarily require you to cover your face with your blanket the whole time.
Some Netflix anticipations include Maniac, a sci-fi reuniting Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a spinoff of Riverdale that will bring back the classic 90s show but with a darker twist. The CW is also bringing back a classic–Charmed. The new series will mimic the storyline of the original show, but it will be in a different setting with new adventures.
