I am in the holiday spirit! I’ve been watching Christmas movies for weeks now, but now that it’s almost Thanksgiving I feel like it’s socially acceptable. I’ve also found some hidden gems that I didn’t know where on any streaming platforms. I hope you enjoy these festive movies as much as I do!

Netflix

  • Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Story
    • Fun fact! The actor who plays young Jeronicus went to my high school. This movie is precious and I highly recommend it.
  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • The Grinch
    • Maybe it’s my love of children’s movies but I loved the new animated version of the Grinch.
  • The Christmas Chronicles
  • A Christmas Prince series
    • This whole series is so incredibly cringy but it’s so good. Totally your classic Hallmark movie.
  • The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
  • The Princess Switch
  • White Christmas
    • This is my all-time favorite Christmas movie! It’s a timeless classic and I am thankful every year that I can find it on Netflix.

Hulu

  • Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas
  • Barbie in a Christmas Carol
    • I honestly can’t believe I found this gem
  • My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas
    • Another favorite from my childhood

With a different membership you can watch these movies:

  • Christmas with the Kranks
  • Elf
  • The Search for Santa Paws

Disney +

  • A Christmas Carol
  • Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
  • Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
    • I used to watch this one with my sister all the time! I love Belle
  • The Santa Clause
  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • The Muppet Christmas Carol
    • This one is my dad’s favorite. It’s so funny to see the muppet characters incorporated into the classic film
  • Mickey’s Christmas Carol
  • Miracle on 34th Street
    • This was one movie that I loved watching because it made me feel mature. We had a black and white VHS tape that I would force my sister to watch with me around the holidays each year.
  • Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas
  • Noelle
  • Olaf’s Frozen Adventure

Amazon

There are lots of cheesy Hallmarkesque movies included with Amazon prime. There aren’t many well known Christmas movies for free, but you can buy or rent some classics through prime.

Happy Holiday Watching!
