Spring Break is incomplete without a playlist to act as your personal experience’s soundtrack.  These are my top picks for my spring break playlist!

1)    Me, Myself and I—G-Eazy x Bebe Rexha

This is one of my favorite songs right now.  The chorus is so fun to sing along to, and it has a great message about not needing a man to have fun.

2)    All My Friends—Snakehips

Notice that I said “Me, Myself and I is one of my favorite songs right now.  I say that because this song is my FAVORITE SONG at the moment.  The song has such a chill vibe, and Chance the Rapper kills it as always.  I could listen to this song on repeat for the entire spring break.

3)    New Americana—Halsey

This song is a big hit right now, and it has that sing-along anthem feel that’s perfect for kicking back with friends on the beach.

4)    Formation—Queen Bey

Had to add Beyonce’s newest song to the list.  It’s Beyonce.  It’s necessary.  I’m currently in the process of trying to learn the words…and the music video dance…

5)    Sunday Candy—Chance the Rapper

I’m personally going through a bit of a Chance the Rapper phase, but everyone will love this song.  My friends and I listen to it at least 4 times a weekend.  It’s such a fun song to sing along to and to dance/get ready to.

6)    Work—Rihanna

This is Rihanna’s newest single.  Even if you don’t like it, you’re gonna hear it non-stop anyway.  You might as well have it on your playlist.  It’s catchy and fun.

7)    Cake by the Ocean—DNCE

It’s catchy.  It talks about the ocean, which is a prominent part of spring break for many people.

8)    Hands to Myself—Selena Gomez

Even though I hate Selena Gomez (sorry Selena fans) and I think she changes the sound of her voice a couple of times in this song, I have to admit it’s always stuck in my head and the chorus has a nice beat so I found it worthy of the playlist.

9)    Kanye’s New Album

If you haven’t listened to Kanye’s new album yet, DO IT.  I’m a huge Kanye fan, and even though this isn’t my favorite album of his and I miss the old Kanye (just like he says), there are definitely songs on the album that are necessary to listen to.  My personal three favorites are “Ultralight Beam”, “Famous”, and “No More Parties in L.A.”.  I’ve listened to the album three times already, and I think a lot of the songs will gain popularity in the upcoming weeks of various spring breaks.

Obviously there are a lot of other great songs out there that are also on my various playlists, but I felt that these 9 were important ones to discuss.  Happy spring break!!
