It is less than a week until it is time for the biggest game of football in the United States and I hope you’re as excited as I am. The Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots will come face to face in Minnesota this Sunday for the Super Bowl. These two teams have dominated their league and have given everything they have all season long.

The last time the Eagles and Patriots met in the Super Bowl was in 2005.

It was a close game throughout, but the Pats scored 10 points in the fourth quarter. It ended 24-21 and the Pats took the win. Luckily, the Eagles get a second chance to redeem themselves. The intensity surrounding this game is unlike any other Super Bowl. The underdogs, the Eagles, will face the team that has always been at the top of the league. Since joining the NFL, Tom Brady has lead the Pats to five Super Bowls with his magic arm.

In contrast, the Eagles have had a much different track record. Fortunately, Carson Wentz has shown up and given the fans of the Philadelphia Eagles something to cheer for. You could feel the pain that traveled through the streets of Philly when word got out that Wentz tore his ACL, making him unable to lead the team the big game. It took awhile for Eagles fans to put their faith in backup quarterback, Nick Foles. Carson Wentz got the Eagles to this point and Foles has had to finish it.

With the Patriot’s untouchable offense and the Eagles strong defense, the Superbowl will be a fight to the end.
