This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Muhlenberg chapter.

As Halloween creeps up on us, it’s time plan a costume. Will you be your favorite artist, Disney princess, animal, or will you plan an epic group costume with your friends? If you’re having trouble coming up with a last-minute costume or simply can’t seem to decide, here a some unique, quick, and easy ideas that will definitely have you standing out this Halloween!

1. The Incredibles

With the epic second film being released this summer, this costume is perfect for Halloween! It works great for both individuals and groups. All you need is an Incredibles shirt, which you can find at your local Target or Five Below, black bottoms, and black shoes. Viola! A simple, yet creative look! You can even purchase an oversized t-shirt and make it into a dress! If you’re not able to find an Incredibles t-shirt, you can DIY it by buying a red t-shirt and merely pasting the logo on it using felt or transfer paper!

2. Rosie the Riveter

This is an iconic and easy look that can easily be recreated. Throw on your favorite chambray top, and make sure to tie a red bandana to your hair to complete this iconic look! Add red lips and combat boots to accessorize your look!

3. Boxer

Throw on your favorite athletic wear along with a robe to knockout this look! Top it off by adding boxer braids and wrapping your hands to make yourself appear like the badass you are!

4. Pirate

Throw on your favorite white, flowy top along with black bottoms, and a bandana and eye patch to complete this look! These accessories can be found at your local Dollar Tree, or you can easily make them using felt. You can definitely rock this costume alone or with a group of friends.

5. Three Blind Mice

You can easily recreate this look by wearing all-black clothing! Accessorize with a pair of black sunglasses, white gloves, and don’t forget the ears to top off this look!

6. Unicorn

Throw on a bright and iridescent top along with a unicorn headband to complete this magical look! You can easily find a unicorn headband at Charming Charlie and Target. If you’re not able to do so, you can easily DIY the unicorn horn using construction paper. Accessorize your look by adding glitter. You’ll definitely be sure to shine this Halloween.

I hope these costume ideas were “spooktacular.” Have a fun and safe Halloween!
