A few weeks ago, in our family group chat, my mom started sending inspirational quotes along with her “good morning” text every day. Now, it’s a part of my routine. I wake up, read a quote, smile, and continue on with my day. I thought I’d select seven of these quotes to share with you, enough to be read every day for a week.

Monday

It’s the start of the week, which can be a rude awakening coming off of the weekend. Take care of yourself today.

Tuesday

You matter and you make a difference! Go to class and share your voice. Head to work and assist others. Whatever it is that you do today, make it count.

Wednesday

Thinking positively seems like a small thing, but it can really make a difference. I had a presentation a few weeks ago, and was feeling extremely anxious about it. But unlike other times when I thought only of how much I dreaded presenting or how worried I was, I thought positively. Thinking about how I knew the topic well and how it would all be okay really made me feel more secure. Good thoughts can really turn your day around!

Thursday

It can be really valuable to consider the things you are grateful for. Not only could you improve your day, but also you can make someone else’s day by making sure to thank them. You could thank your professors after class, or simply be thankful the school week is almost over.

Friday

When I woke up to see my mom had sent this, I was like “MHM!” Enjoy your Friday.

Saturday

It’s the weekend! I hope you do something fun, whether it be chilling in your dorm, or an adventure out with your friends.

Sunday

Before you take on another week, remember to take care of yourself. I like to remind myself that sleep means success. You can do your best work when you’re well-rested!

I hope these quotes add a little something special to your week. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make life better!
