Are you a competitive athlete who reluctantly stopped playing varsity sports when you got to college?  Do you want to belong to a tight-knit community of caring individuals who all share similar values?  Even if you’re just looking for a way to bust the winter blues and get active this spring, ultimate frisbee may be for you.

Ultimate is the fastest growing team sport in the country – and deservedly so. Ultimate is a fast-paced and competitive team sport that combines the aerial passing aspects of football with the flow and beauty of soccer.  What’s more, ultimate tends to attract athletes who care deeply and genuinely about their sport, their teammates, and their health and fitness.  So, what sets ultimate apart from other sports?  Spirit of the game.  Spirit of the game is ultimate’s overriding philosophy of respect not only for teammates, but also for opponents.  This spirit is what makes ultimate a sport for mature and serious athletes who know how to win and compete with pride and dignity, but never at the expense of respect and sportsmanship.

Mount Holyoke, along with the rest of the 5-College Consortium, and most other colleges and universities in the country, offers ultimate as a club sport.  The team is fun, friendly, welcoming, and passionate and they attend a handful of weekend tournaments each spring in addition to practices during the week.
