With finals upon us, it’s easy to get caught up in the stress that everyone is feeling. This week, HC Mt Holyoke has brainstormed a few ways to keep your head in the game!

1. Get plenty of sleep

This seems obvious, but if you sleep well and get at least 8 hours, you will perform better, feel better, and think better.

2. Eat healthy foods

Eating healthy is not only good for you in general, but helps avoid the sluggish feeling. No one wants to go into a final after they’ve eaten three slices of pizza and ice cream… so don’t! Eat a sandwhich, a salad, or something that will fill you up but not bog you down.

3. Socialize!

It’s easy to hole up in the library and study, but social interactions make the finals process more bearable. Have a movie night, or grab dinner with friends. If nothing else, you can empathize about how stressed you are for an hour!

4. Try not to stress

Okay, okay, we know finals are a really intense time. But remember all the hard work you’ve put in so far, and how smart of a woman you are! You can do this!

From all the HC Mt Holyoke writers, we wish all the moho’s the best of luck on exams!
