5 Things To Do This Valentines Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

Whether you are spending the day with your loved one or by yourself, this list will guarantee that this Valentine’s Day you will have a smile on your face!

1. Buy a Heart-Shaped Pizza

Papa John’s Pizza has heart-shaped pizzas that are just $11! The best part is that it comes unsliced. So you can eat it all yourself, judgement free. :)

2. Make/Buy some sweet treats

There’s a new trend about making smashable chocolate hearts! Follow a quick tutorial on youtube or support a local small business! If you aren’t into that, there are always comforting chocolate strawberries you can indulge in!

3. Watch some classic rom-coms

Now that you have got your food, enjoy some time watching a classic rom-com. Whether you want to throw it back to the 90s with Chasing Amy or keep it young and sweet with To All the Boys I’ve Loved before, you have got a whole day to binge them.

4. Send a virtual Valentine’s Day card to a kid at St.Judes

This activity only takes a few minutes and you can put a smile on someone else’s face! First, you choose a card cover that you like, then write a short and sweet message(up to 200 characters) or choose a pre-written one, sign it, and that’s it!

5. Take some time to love yourself

There are many ways to relax on this day. You can journal and write down everything you are thankful for and everything you love. You can make a list of everything you love about yourself and even some things you can work on. You can even call someone near and dear and tell them how much they mean to you. It’s the little things that matter!
