Thanksgiving is upon us and what better way to spend the four day long break than stuffing our faces with family and binging Netflix shows in between? Every month, Netflix releases a ton of awesome new shows and movies for us. Instead of skimming through lists and lists of shows and movies, we decided to pick a few of our favorites so you could spend more time gobbling than scrolling this Thanksgiving.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Brought to you by the same producers as Riverdale, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina takes a classic sitcom from the 90s and gives it a new life! Even though the show takes place in modern day, it has a vintage aesthetic to it that we just love. Not only do we adore a show with a strong female *witch* lead, but it’s also really refreshing to see Ross Lynch play something other than Austin Moon!

Nailed It

This is a great and hilarious show to watch if you’re feeling insecure about your baking abilities at the dinner table this turkey day. The show has three contestants per episode, all ameteur bakers who have to compete against each other. Not only is it super entertaining and funny, but it also may inspire you to bake something sweet this holiday.

Sex and the City: The Movie

While Sex and the City isn’t a new movie, if you love anything Carrie Bradshaw, then this is definitely one to sit down and watch this Thanksgiving. There’s just something about watching a girl gang get back together to talk about guys over mimosa brunches that makes me want to spend time with loved ones. Seeing the cast of Sex and the City get together truly is a friendsgiving on its own.

Julie & Julia

Two words… Amy Adams. Nothing gets us more in the Thanksgiving cooking spirit than watching Julie, played by Amy Adams, cook up a storm with the inspiration from renowned chef Julia Child aka Meryl Streep. This quirky little movie will definitely give you an appetite to be thankful for.
