Does Covid-19 have you missing what life is all about…living? Well, I for sure have been missing plane rides, seeing friends and cruising around the Bahamas. Being in isolation has put me in a slump, but I’m still planning on what new adventures await me when this is all over. Truthfully I don’t know what the new normal will be like, but I do have a little list of things that I want to do when I can.

Florida

Before the pandemic hit, I frequently visited my Aunt and Uncle in Florida for spring and summertime fun, which included trips to Disney World. Florida has become a second home to me, and I miss my fun in the sun place.

California

Another place that I was supposed to visit before the pandemic hit was the West Coast for my first Taylor Swift concert. The concert got canceled as everything else did, but I hope she reschedules a show so I can still go. Even if the concert never happens, my cousin just moved there permanently, so now I have a better reason to visit. For now, I’ll just continue to dream about the piers, the city, the outfits I would have worn and visiting celebrity hot spots.

Paris

I’ve been dying to visit the city of love for the longest time. Paris has called out to me my whole life for no specific reason- perhaps it’s due to the rich art, food or the Eiffel Tower.

Movie Theaters

It feels like I haven’t been to a movie theater in years! I miss the smell of the popcorn, cuddling into the seat as if it was my bed and the midnight premieres. Movie theaters are such a pop culture thing to experience that it’s upsetting that we haven’t had the chance to celebrate movies such as Wonder Woman 1984 and Onward from Disney!

Broadway

The curtains closed on Broadway over a year ago now, and I miss it dearly. Theater and the arts hold such a special place in my heart because I’ve been in multiple school plays and have performed in my local theater. My all-time favorite Broadway production is Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and even though I’ve seen it multiple times, I’m running right back to Broadway as soon as its curtains open!

Cruising

The oceans have been calling my name to return to their waters for a long time. I love to go on cruises because you get to visit so many beautiful places in a very short time. I’ve been to Spain, Italy and Ajaccio and dream of going to so many other places.

Covid-19 will go away, and before you know it, I’ll be on a ship or plane traveling to many of these places that I’ve been dreaming of. Dream big and plan your post-pandemic vacation.
