Calling all cat lovers: Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière collaborated with Grace Coddington to produce a cat and dog inspired capsule of the Cruise 2019 collection! The collection is fun, youthful and absolutely adorable. Check out the campaign film here!
The Catogram collection features shirts, pants, accessories and even pajamas! It’s any cat-crazy lady or lad’s dream come true! Many of the items feature the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram in a sophisticated orange/brown/black/white color scheme with playful cat and dog images in contrast.
How did this fun and furry idea come to life? Well, in an interview Nicolas stated “I met Grace 20 years ago. We wanted to celebrate our pets, our animals, our loved ones.” Although he claims to be more of a dog person and she is more of cat fanatic, the two make an undoubtedly amazing duo!
When asked to describe the collection, Grace stated, “I guess, yes, it’s fun. It’s a little different to the regular Vuitton bags and accessories.” These pieces are so innocent and cute… it is literally impossible not to smile when scrolling through. Check out the collection.
