She is a chill beach girl that has a rough “I don’t care” attitude. If you are looking for Miss. Karwowski around campus, keep your eyes peeled for a brown haired beauty.
HCM: Where are you from?
DK: Brick, New Jersey
HCM: Why did you choose to come Montclair? Do you like it?
DK: I came to Montclair because I liked how I was close to NYC and in a different type of environment but I could still easily go home whenever I wanted to. They also have a good business school. Becoming a business major was originally my plan.
HCM: How did you get interested in your major?
DK: I’m majoring in food and nutrition science and I got into this field because I honestly just love food. I also find it really interesting; learning about how your body reacts to different foods is really cool. I’ve found that learning different things about food and what it is made up really changes how you think about food and how you choose to eat.
HCM: What are some of your hobbies?
DK: even tough I don’t have the time for it. I really enjoy drawing and painting. I love crafts too, like DIY’s. Cooking too.
HCM: What are some of your goals?
DK: Some of my short term goals would be getting certified as a personal trainer, along with getting an internship within a year from now. Long-term goals include the possibility of opening my own private practice and/or maybe a health and wellness center. Opening a little restaurant always crosses my mind too, like a healthy but delicious breakfast and lunch place. Ultimately, I just want tot love what I do for a living and not feel like I’m going to work everyday.
HCM: Are you single?
DK: Taken!
HCM: How long have you been together?
DK: 3.5 years
HCM: What drew you to him?
DK: I loved the blonde hair. He looked like a beach boy (not to be confused with the band) and I liked how he was somewhat shy but weird and awkward in a hilarious way. Being a hockey player was a plus too.
HCM: Do you have any guilty pleasures?
DK: ICECREAM. ALL OF IT. I like pop-tarts too (Oreo and s’mores).
HCM: Do you have any deal breakers? Things you absolutely can’t tolerate?
DK: If you don’t like my dogs, or animals in general, I don’t like you.
HCM: What is your biggest turn off?
DK: Cockiness. Socks with sandals. Guys who are attention seeking/loud and obnoxious.
HCM: Do you have a specific “type”?
DK: I don’t think I have a type, but I do like the beach bums. Guys who can just sit at the beach for hours. They would also just have to be laid back, a cool person to be around and have a good sense of humor of course.
