What’s your favorite thing about Montclair State?
My favorite thing about Montclair is the campus during the Fall when the trees are changing. It just looks so pretty!
What’s your “go-to” spot on campus?
The quad by the student center!
Why did you decide to become a Family and Child Studies major?
I love helping people and I want to make a difference in someone’s life.
What is your favorite thing about the major?
My favorite thing about my major is that it has given me the opportunity to learn more about myself and my family. I have a better understanding of why people are the way they are and through learning about families, I have become more empathetic.
Do you have a favorite class that you’ve taken?
Sociology of the Family!
What has been your favorite part about college overall so far?
My favorite part about college has been the freedom to discover who I am. I have changed so much in the past few years. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to explore my options and discover what I truly care about.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to go to Grad School!
What is your dream job?
I would really love to become a therapist or counselor for children and young adults.

What motivates you?
Thinking about my goals for the future really motivates me to get stuff done and be the best version of me that I can be.
Who inspires you?
People who start from nothing and make something out of themselves really inspire me.
What does your perfect day look like?
A perfect day for me is cuddling up under a nice warm blanket with a cup of coffee and watching Netflix without having to worry about work or school. Haha!
What is one thing you wish people knew about you?
I wish people understood that just because I’m an introvert, it doesn’t mean I’m not confident.

- Taylor Swift because I want to know everything about her life.
- Nick Jonas because he’s my ultimate celebrity crush.
- The fictional character of Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore girls because she’s my favorite and I aspire to be like her.

- Steve Harvey because he has the best facial expressions. Haha!

My one piece of advice that I have for Freshman starting college this year is to take advantage of all the opportunities that are presented to you while you can. It goes fast so make sure you make the most of your time here!
