As an Irish girl, March means that St. Patrick’s Day is coming. You may not know what to do for the holiday but a fun way to celebrate can be to do some makeup looks that you wouldn’t do on a normal basis.

Put on some green eyeshadow.

Green eyeshadow isn’t something you would probably wear for an everyday look. However, since green is the color of St. Patrick’s day , it’s perfect for the holiday. You can get a green shimmer and add it on your lid or get a matte green and put it in your crease. If you don’t want your whole eyelid to be green then you can do a pink and green or brown and green eye look so it’s not as noticeable  but still in the spirit. Either way, it’ll look cute and fun.

Add some glitter.

When it comes to a celebration, you can never go wrong with glitter. Put some on where you would put your highlighter to add that extra pop of sparkle. It makes the look stand out even more, and is fun to do since it’s not something you do every day in your makeup routine.

Get artistic.

If you’re an artist then you should use your skills and get creative with your makeup. You can draw a four leaf clover on the corner of your eye, a pot of gold, or maybe even a leprechaun! You can even do a rainbow eyeshadow look that leads to one of these drawings. This is probably the only day out of the year you can do this and go out in it, so why not give it a try?

Don’t be afraid to try new things with your makeup. If you don’t like how it turns out you can always take it off, but it doesn’t hurt to try. Doing a makeup look that goes with the holiday can put you in the spirit even more and help you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
