1. Can you tell us about your blog, and what inspired you to start it?

Ever since I was little I had an interest in clothing; while most kids were watching Blues Clues I was watching Project Runway and Americas next top model. As I got older, I started following blogs and thought I’d start one myself in hopes to give some inspiration to girls. My blog is a weekly update of some of my favorite outfits and inspirations.

2.Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts?

My inspirations come from my everyday life. Being college student, comfort and keeping warm has been playing a big part in what I put together recently. I love researching current New York street style to get inspiration from and to recreate.

3. What do you like/dislike the most about blogging?

I love being able to share my ideas and to inspire girls to be comfortable to express themselves through clothing. One thing that’s hard about blogging is juggling it while in school and keeping up with it weekly.

4. What is your biggest tip for anyone who is interested in starting a fashion blog?

My tip for anyone starting a fashion blog would be to make sure you are passionate about it and start one because you want to, not because you think it will make you famous or bring you easy money. Make sure you have a purpose and ask yourself the following questions, Why are you starting a blog, What do you want to get out of doing this, and Why do you want to succeed?

5. Where do you see your blog in the next few years?

Once things settle down with school I would love to try and do daily blog posts and expand my blog to online store.

6. How would you describe your own personal style?

I would have to say my personal style ranges from bohemian to grunge. I love mixing the two and when necessary adding girly touches like floral prints.

7. Where do you buy your clothes and why?

I work at Free People so most of my clothing is from that company, like Urban Outfitters. I love to mix it up and shop at places like Forever 21, Nasty Gal, and consignment shops. These places are always carrying unique pieces that make it easy to mix and match style, making things your own. I always love adding a touch of vintage to an outfit even if it’s a purse and thrifting makes shopping fun since you never know what you’ll find!

8. Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?

The only rule I can think of while putting an outfit together is to make sure your confident in what you wear. Confidence shows and you should be wearing the clothes not letting the clothes wear you.

9. Do you have a fashion role model?

I would have to say my role models in fashion would be the Olsen twins and Emma Watson. Emma Watson would be the classy, girly side of me, while the Olsen twins would be the bohemian grungy side of my style.Â
