With the start of the semester underway it is a breath of fresh air to sign up for something that is completely hassle & stress free! My experience with EyeBuyDirect was wonderful from the start, as they have taken care of all of the minor details I simply don’t have time to think about!
After carefully browsing their vast collection of both eyeglasses, and sunglasses, I decided on the Almost Famous frame (seen below). After choosing your frames, you can add your prescription, lens type (clear, tint, light adjusting, and even digital protection!) and an option for UV coating.
As a busy college student I spend most of my time straining my eyes on a bright laptop screen, which is why I opted for digital protection coating on my lens! Now I can type all of my assignments (& online shop) at ease.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE sunglasses! So, when EyeBuyDirect reached out to us about trying out their glasses naturally I was super excited!
I chose to try one of their newest sunglass frames, The Hamptons. Now my experience with EyeBuyDirect wasn’t as perfect as I would have hoped. However, that was all on me and I am definitely still a major fan of the company!
First of all, I really loved how the website is organized. It’s clean, crisp and informational. With every pair of glasses, they have pictures of the glasses at multiple angles, an option to upload a photo to “try them on” as well the measurements to help figure out whether you would need a small, medium or large frame. This is where I had my experience go a bit awry. I ended up choosing a pair there were a bit too small for me. I fell in between the medium and large fittings and afraid the large would sit too big, I opted for the medium that was unfortunately too small.
C’est la vie. While I was a bit disappointed, I do have to say I was very impressed with their process of making the glasses. They have so many different frames to choose from that there is surely something for everyone. The best part is they send multiple emails to update you on the progess they are making on your glasses. They alert you on many different steps such as when your order is received, when your lenses are cut, when your frames are ready and when they are shipped out to name a few. When they are shipped out, they are securely packaged in a hard case with a cleaning cloth.
I feel the best part of the glasses – and the company – is their quality. These are high quality glasses that look much more expensive than they really are. You really feel you are getting a great product which is important for college students on a budget!
Overall, even though I couldn’t use my glasses, I was very impressed with EyeBuyDirect. I am actually planning on ordering from them again soon! I ended up giving my glasses to my friend as a gift and she loves them. She can’t stop gushing about them and it’s easy to see why. EyeByeDirect is a quality company that makes high quality goods!
