With the power of Pinterest and the beauty of dollar store prices, we can make something cheap that looks expensive. Yes you read right collegiates, you can make your own makeup storage unit for only $8! Perfect for us college students on a budget. I stumbled upon this idea on Pinterest and ran right to my local dollar tree for supplies. Not only was it inexpensive, but it was easy to put together too.  I use mine to hold my jewelry but it can also be used to hold makeup. This storage unit is IDEAL for those of you who dorm. It is perfect to stick in your bathroom and have everything organized. No more mess and no more fuss. Happy crafting!

What you will need:

• 3 Silver Trays (Small, Medium, Large) $1 each
• 2 glass candle sticks  $1 each
• E-6000 Adhesive Glue $3

1. Start by spreading glue on the upper portion of one candlestick and place it upside down in the middle of the largest plate.
2. Now, glue the bottom of the candlestick and place the medium sized plate gently on top.
3. Similarly to step one, glue the top of the second candlestick and place that in the middle of the medium sized plate. Glue the bottom of the candlestick just like in step 2 and place the small plate on top evenly.
4. Now that you have the storage unit finished, let it dry and set for a day. When it is completely dry and sturdy, organize away!
