Meet Dimitra, the girl who helps make the magic happen for HC Montclair. She is one of our very own, our fabulous Editor in Chief. When Dimitra isn’t working on an article she can be found running at the gym, skyping with her boyfriend, who lives in Washington, DC, or randomly dancing!
On her personal style, Dimitra describes herself as a casual kind of girl, jeans and t-shirts. With over 30 pairs of heels, Dimitra cannot wait to show them off during a girl’s night out or a romantic date with her boyfriend. She says, heels can make a girl feel sexy and empowered and a simple dress can make a girl feel relaxed and girly.
Dimitra describes herself as a Twitter junkie, always on the prowl for the latest news. As a communications major, keeping updated is essential! She decided to pursue communications in hopes of one day becoming a public relations consultant in the entertainment industry. After taking the required classes she discovered just how broad a degree in communications is and how many opportunities can sprout about. She states, “I’m learning more about myself taking these classes. It’s not about one day being in the entertainment industry anymore. It’s about being happy and successful doing what you love. “
Dimitra is a junior and will soon be graduating from MSU, but she says, there is still so much more to learn! She wants to take everything she has learned in college and not only use it in the work force but in her personal life as well. Dimitra wants to experience life to its fullest. She exclaims, “The ups and downs. The good and the bad. I want to see the world. I want to make a name for myself. I want to not only make my family proud, but myself proud. Therefore, I want to achieve an authentic life.”
