HCM: What are you looking forward to about this upcoming Winter Break?

EN: I’m looking forward to relaxing and spending time with my family and reuniting with my best friend, Haley, who has been studying abroad for four months. Also, I can’t wait to get back into the hobbies I set aside during the semester to focus on school, such as sewing, blogging, and singing. Overall, spending time and focusing on bettering myself.

HCM: What are you passionate about?

EN: I am passionate about my life. I’ve always had a deep drive and determination to be happy and I live everyday trying to achieve happiness even if it’s in the temporary little happiness received from little day to day accomplishments. I’ve always had a passion for fashion, as cliché as that sounds. Since I was very little I knew that that was something I was interested in. I always dressed to fit my mood for the day and expressed myself in that way. I’m passionate about the people around me and the memories they bring. I surround myself with people who excite me, care deeply, and are willing to point out my mistakes and help me grow and get better.

HCM: What inspires you?

EN: I am inspired by life and movement and the idea that one day is never like the next. I love waking up and not knowing what is waiting for me and who I am going to meet. I am inspired by happy people, people who take their flaws like they are and embrace their insecurities. I hope someday I can do something that embraces this idea, whatever it may be.

HCM: What is your post-college dream?

EN: I’d love to be close to my family, living in the city, working in fashion, and living a hectic crazy lifestyle. I’ve never quite had a career in mind because I always like to keep my mind open. I like the idea that an opportunity might come my way because I allowed it to do so. Ideally though, I would love to work in the marketing/PR aspect of fashion. I love the way fashion makes people feel, particularly women. I’ve been lucky to already work on several shoots as a stylist and the ability to dress a woman and watch her transform into a confident, self aware and bright individual is a feeling like no other. The ability to make others happy comes in many different forms, and I’d like to do my share through clothing. Specifically, my current dream job/internship would be with Diane Von Furstenberg, her brand embodies the beauty of a woman in all her natural flaws and imperfections.

HCM: What is your ultimate life goal?

EN: I’d like to be happy. I’d like to wakeup each morning with a smile on my face. I’d like to be able to take care of my parents like they took care of me for so long and I’d like to work passionately in something I enjoy.
